  Notes	Damaris' 13 December 1849 obituary states that she left "a husband and three children". The 1850 census, however, enumerates James as living alone in Sussex County, Virginia. The 1850 census enumerates in Greensville County, Virginia, Henry(63) & Mary(57) Allen, with 6 children. The 3 younger are 8, 5 & 3. Could these be their grandchildren, the children of their son(?) James M. Allen, who was living alone in Sussex County?
