  	Rosy named her brother, Pascow, as executor of her will. Benjamin Bryan and William King witnessed the document.

  	Rosy died between 10 Feb 1782, the date of her will, and 26 May 1785 when the Elizabeth City County Court ordered "William Brough, Robert Brough, Moss Armistead and Charles Jennings or any three of them to settle the late Sheriff's Administration" of her estate. The wording of the instruction indicates some delay between the time of Rosy's death and the date of the Court Order. Rosea's name was not on the list of tithables in Elizabeth City County for the year 1782. As a head of household and a slave holder, her name would have appeared on the list had she been living during the compilation thereof. This strongly suggests that she died in early 1782.

Thomas Herbert's Norfolk County will of 17 Jun 1749 named John and Judith's eldest child, Margaret and alluded to a second child in his son John's family that had been conceived, but had yet to be born. Using this knowledge and applying the generally accepted rule of thumb that prior to 1850 a couples's first child arrived within a year of marriage and subsequent births usually occured at two year intervals thereafter [the intervals grew slightly as a woman aged], John and Judith's marriage date may be estimated as c. 1746.
