- Mr. and Mrs. David Alford Sykes of Ridgeland announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Elizabeth Sykes, to Jonathan Craig Pace of Madison, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Earl Pace of Columbus. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Floyce Paxton Adams and the late Mr. Lewis Verne Adams of Caile, and Mrs. Ruth Reeves Sykes and the late Mr. Alford Sykes of Indianola. She is a 2003 graduate of Washington School in Greenville and graduated cum laude from Delta State University, with a bachelor’s degree in family and consumer sciences, with a concentration in early childhood development. She is a member Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. She is currently a member of the preschool faculty and staff at Jackson Academy in Jackson. The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Helen Keyes Craig and the late Mr. Raymond Lee Craig Jr. of Greenwood, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Shelton Pace of Coffeeville. He is a 1999 graduate of Heritage Academy in Columbus. He graduated from Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in business, with a concentration in banking and finance. While at MSU, he was a member of Kapa Alpha Order. He completed his master’s degree in business administration from Millsaps College in 2009. Currently he is a trust investment officer in the Wealth Management Group with BankPlus in Ridgeland. Wedding vows will be exchanged June 12, 2010, at 5 p.m. at North Park Presbyterian Church in Jackson. A reception follows at the Northpointe Red Barn
