  	George Ashall's will, dated 1 September 1671, gave his eldest son Richard the choice of Wolves Neck plantation or the plantation at Little Creek where George resided at the time. His son George was to have the plantation rejected by Richard. The 2 June 1680 division of the Wolves Neck plantation between George's three daughters and their respective husbands suggests that either or both of George's sons were deceased by that date. Further support for the early deaths of Richard and George, the younger, is the absence of their names from any extant records after 1671.
