In April 1940 Bryant, Alice and daughter Nora were living with his son Frank and daughter-in-law Priscilla.

• Notes

  Several discrepancies with birth year. NC death index, 1900 US Census and Frank's headstone all say 1898. 1930 US Census lists him as age 27 which puts birth year at 1903. 1940 US Census lists him as age 33 which puts birth year at 1907. Information he gave to draft board in 1940 states birth year as 1905, and age as 35.
