  	I believe that the will of Josiah Butt as entered in Norfolk County Will Book 2 contains an error concerning this individual. The entry says "to my Grandson Horatio Boush". I believe that it should have said "to my Son Horatio Boush Butt". This conclusion is based on several factors: 1) Each of Joshia's other five children was named in his will. His son Horatio was not named. 2) Guardian bonds dated 21 Aug 1783 named Joshia's three Infant children, Prudence, Joshia & Horatio, with his wife Mary as their guardian. 3) Neither of Josiah's married daughters carried the surname Boush. 4) Nathaniel, his only son to have reach legal age by the time of his death, does not appear from extant records to have had a son. 5) Josiah's wife's maiden name was Boush and her maternal grandfather's given name was Horatio.
