  The decision has been made, after a great deal of research and consideration, to end Mary's line here. Extensive work on the part of Rosemary Bowers Dodd suggests that Mary Curle married a William Williams. While there was, indeed, a William Williams living in Elizabeth City County, VA during the second half of the 18th century, there is, to date, absolutely no evidence of a marriage between Mary Curle and a William Williams.
