| Notes |
- Family information received from Paul August Kemske states that he and his four siblings were baptized in a Wilmington area Baptist church on 10 Jun 1930. As Baptist churches reject the practice of infant baptism, in favor of believer baptism, it is more likely that the children were welcomed into the congregation of a Baptist church that their parents' had recently joined. The children were all too young in 1930 to have made personal affirmations of faith.
