  Married: Thomas and Della were married at the residence of the bride in Jacksonville by Justice of the Peace H.C. Canaday. Witnesses were H.A. Jarman, [illegible] Henderson and [illegible] Sparrow, all of Jacksonville, NC. Thomas was 36 at the time of his marriage. Della was 19 according to the marriage certificate, though on her death certificate her birth year is given as 1888 which would have made her 16 when she married.
