• Notes

  In 1885, 6 years after John Bailey's death, Sarah married Philemon H. Golt of Wye Mills, Maryland. Sarah A.E. Golt is the only known child of that marriage. The 1900 census notes that Sarah had given birth to 8 children, 4 of whom were living in June 1900. Married: The couple was married in Sussex County, Virginia on 19 December 1870.
