• Notes

  John & Nancy Randolph disappear from extant historical records after the April 1860 census enumeration. Family tradition holds that they were killed in a "carriage accident". Married: The couple was married on 10 January 1852 in Washington, North Carolina by Rev. George N. Gregory, a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
