Mary, the baby, was sent to live with Joseph Ferebee's sister, Leonora [Lola] Ferebee Weiss. This decision to send the infant away from the Ferebee home resulted in a split which lasted for years between the two families. Death in 1927, stated age 50 (no date of birth given). This age puts birth year at 1877, much later than Isy's birth year.
