16745	[Amy is often "assumed" to be Amy Wyche the "assumed" daughter of George & Sarah Wyche. Examination of several Wyche genealogies does not bear this out. George Wyche's will dated 5 Oct 1753, Sussex Co, names wife Sarah, sons, sons-in-law, a grandson and a granddaughter and a daughter. Each relative is given a specific relationship to the deceased. The only exception to this practice is the naming of John Clanton and of Charles Collier for whom no relationships are given. Neither a daughter Amy, nor a daughter Lucy is mentioned in the will. It is of interest to note, however, that John & Amy Clanton had two granddaughters named "Amy Wyche" & a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Wyche & a great-grandson, Benjamin Wyche.
